How do I book a ride?+
Open the NanoCabs app or website, enter your pickup and drop-off locations, choose your ride type (Nano, Boda, Comfort, XL), and tap "Find a driver". You will be matched with the nearest available driver within seconds.
What payment methods are accepted?+
We accept M-Pesa, Visa and Mastercard debit/credit cards, and cash. You can set your preferred payment method in your account settings.
How do I cancel a ride?+
You can cancel a ride from the app before the driver arrives. If the driver has already been dispatched for more than 2 minutes, a small cancellation fee may apply.
How is the fare calculated?+
Fares are based on distance, estimated travel time, service type, and current demand. You will see an estimated fare before confirming your ride.
I left something in the car. What do I do?+
Go to your ride history, select the ride, and tap "Report lost item". We will connect you with the driver so you can arrange a return.
How do I become a driver?+
Visit the "Drive with us" page and complete the sign-up form. You will need to provide your National ID, driving licence, PSV licence, and vehicle documents. Our team reviews applications within 24 hours.
How does car hire work?+
Go to the Car Hire section, choose self-drive or chauffeur, select your dates, and pick a vehicle. You can hire by the day and pay via M-Pesa or card.
What is the Tow service?+
If your vehicle breaks down, open NanoCabs and select "Tow". We will dispatch the nearest tow truck to your location. Pricing is a base fee plus per-kilometre charge.
Is my data safe?+
Yes. We use encryption for all data in transit and at rest, and we never sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
